We live in a world that is continually changing every day, a world filled with confusion, fears, and frustrations ... a few weeks ago I found myself far from that first world of confusion. I was in Honduras, and although it is relatively close in distance to the U.S., in other ways it is far away ... I saw (God's) glory and power when pastors, without a fixed salary, took three days to sit and listen, 'transfigured' by the Word ... I needed to see God in the 'desert' of La Mosquitia in order to see Him more clearly in the more affluent world and also in my daily life.
